Silicone orthosis

Silicone orthoses are elements that are used to both correct and slow the progression of a deformity (for example: hammertoe) and also to protect when the deformity becomes rigid.

They are carried out in the consultation and are custom-made so that they have a perfect fit and do not cause discomfort. They are useful when there are deformities in the forefoot such as hammer toes, claw toes, mounted toes, bunions, etc.

They are also useful when the deformity causes an injury, such as when the fourth and fifth fingers are very close together and a heloma (known as chicken eye) appears due to the pressure between them.
